PROYECTO SUSTAINABILITY, A GLOBAL MISSION

Este proyecto comienza en el curso 2023/2024 y finaliza en el curso 2024/2025 entre nuestro centro y los institutos de secundaria de las ciudades de Nigrita, Grecia y Alvito, Italia. 

Durante los tres encuentros, los alumnos de 4º de ESO de los tres centros asociados, todos ellos cursando el área de biología, profundizan en el concepto de sostenibilidad. 

ENCUENTRO EN SAN JAVIER, ESPAÑA

El primer encuentro se llevó a cabo en nuestro centro, del 4 al 8 de marzo de 2024. Las actividades que se llevaron a cabo durante el encuentro fueron las siguientes:

ENCUENTRO EN ALVITO, ITALIA 

Este segundo encuentro, desde el 20 al 26 de abril de 2024, tuvo lugar en el instituto Omnicomprensivo  Alvito Istituto Tecnico Agrario de Alvito, Italia.

Entre las actividades destacamos la visita a la granja Fattoria di Varia así como a la reserva natural Zompo Lo Schioppo. Las visitas culturales en Roma destacaron por la visita al Coliseum y a la Fontana di Trevi.

Activity 1: Visit of a farm to discover biodynamic agriculture
Learning methods:	Thanks to the visit of a farm we discover biodynamic agriculture, wine, oil, cheese production, interrelationship of soil, plants and animals, promoting ecological balance and sustainability.
Learning outcomes:	Biodynamic agriculture and its products Knowledge about relationships in the ecosystem and the ecological balance  Promotion of sustainability

Activity 2: Discovering natural and cultural resources
Learning methods:	We discover a regional park, a protected area, with a waterfall, a luxuriant forest, from 600m into 2,000 m, the old village of Morino, destroyed by the earthquake at the beginning of the XX century and rebuilt, the waterfall and the Wood, laboratories, tree, mushrooms.
Learning outcomes:	Nature reserve as sanctuary for biodiversity Natural resources for fine cuisine Cultural resources

Activity 3: Discovering Roma: A world heritage site
Learning methods:	Walking tour in Roma: Colosseum, Fori imperiali, Fontana di Trevi.
Learning outcomes:	We share history, arts, roots and culture, UNESCO heritage.

Activity 4: Active Learning
Learning methods:	Presentations of the school.  10.30 am Activities in group: group work, peer to peer learning Creation of an ebook: storytelling of the week with a description of activities and photos Visit of Posta Fibreno and  WWF natural park and  Lake

Activity 5: Activities at school and Alvito
Learning methods:	Activities at school: some laboratories,  Beekeeping Visit to the school farm.  Creation of an ebook: storytelling of the week with a description of activities and photos Visit of the Town Hall and to the main buildings of Alvito.

con gran extensión de terreno. Nuestro viaje a Alvito ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Con nuestros

“Con las familias que nos acogieron fue todo genial, en particular en mi caso me quedé en casa de una

profesora y toda la familia fue súper amable, y cocinaban genial (sobre todo la pasta). Uno de los días

fue muy interesante porque fuimos a recolectar setas y luego la profesora Nadia Simeone hizo con ellas

una empanada que estaba buenísima. El viaje fue una experiencia muy positiva y me quedo con la

amabilidad y la forma de ser de los italianos, que hicieron que nos sintiéramos como en casa. El

momento de regresar fue una mezcla de tristeza por la marcha y alegría por haber compartido estos

días. Espero volver a repetir esta experiencia con mis compañeros.”

ENCUENTRO EN NIGRITA, GRECIA

El último encuentro tuvo lugar en Nigrita, desde el 9 hasta el 15 de marzo de 2025. Entre las actividades desarrolladas, enumeramos: 

- Visita al lago Kerkini y al centro de educación medio ambiental de Poroion. 

- Visita al museo arqueológico de Thessaloniki.

- Paseo por el rio Nestos y el centro de educacion ambiental Paranestiou.

- Produción de jabón de aceite de oliva, juegos sobre el medio ambiente y concurso. 

- Visitas culturales a la cueva de Alistrati, museo Noesis

Technological, teatro antiguo de Filippi  y visita a la granja spirulina.
